Since practicing dentistry for more than 35 years in San Diego, Dr. Aires is a seasoned and well accomplished dentist. He has written dozens of published articles of his own original research, resulting in international readership among dentists.

Dr. Aires passion for perfection coupled with his motivation to make a difference in the dental world, led him to design and patent an implant abutment to improve the aesthetic outcome of implant restorations, providing an adjustable coping device for implants.
PROSTHODONTICS
Dr. Aires's area of focus is in prosthodontics, which includes implant restorations, crowns, fixed bridges, dentures, and partial dentures. For the last 10 years, he has given extra time and care to the restoration of full arches with implants and crowns.

From teaching and lecturing to diagnosing treatment plans, Dr. Aires offers his coaching with hands on experiences, has written for several prestigious dental journals, and regularly presents his research findings to dentists and patients throughout the world.
Clinical research
Through groundbreaking research, Dr. Aires and his team in San Diego have launched a pilot study on the immediate function of a dental implant procedure, placing cemented crowns on dental implants in one visit. Results showed 100% success.
MENTORSHIP
Dr. Aires provides one-on-one and live online coaching and mentoring for implant surgery and prosthetics to oral surgeons, periodontists and general dentists with implant experience ready to go to the next level of case complexity.
